Seven days wildlife trip to Bale mountains national park and the great rift valley
Day 01: Addis Ababa – Bale Goba
Arrive in Addis Ababa and meet by your guide. After breakfast drive to Dinsho via Shashamane, on the way enjoy the views of the beautiful landscape and Mountain terrain. After you reach the Bale Mountains national park headquarter, walk around Dinsho area to see some wildlife including Mountain Nyala, Menelik’s Bushbuck, warthogs, colobus monkeys and, others.

Day 02: Excursion to Sof Omar cave
Day trip to Sof Omar Cave, which is one of the longest natural caves in Africa formed by the Web River. Visit the cave and the nearby village to experience the local way of life. The natural beauty of the area attracts visitors and Muslim pilgrims from different parts of the country as this is considered a holy place by the flowers of the religion. Afterwards, drive back to Goba to overnight.

Day 03: Excursion to the Sanetti Plateau and Harenna forest
Excursion to the Sanetti Plateau, look for the Abyssinian Wolf also known as the Red Fox/ follow the popular rodents of the area, you can see their tunnel homes all though out the Plateau. Picnic lunch then walks through bamboo and tropical forest. There is a possibility of spotting different species of birds and Bale monkeys which is endemic to Ethiopia.

Day 04: Goba – Hawassa.
After breakfast start your journey to Hawassa passing through breathtaking landscape.
Arrive in Hawassa that is been at the shore of one of the great rift valley lakes.

Day 05: Morning visits the fish market at the shore of the lake.
Morning visits the local fish market where you learn how the locals fish using their technique. In the meantime, you will watch some aquatic birds calming their share. Afterward, drive to Langano to overnight.

Day 06: Walk through the forest and swim in the lake
Morning walks around the lakeshore relax and or you can swim the on the Langano Lake. It is also called the honeymoon lake because most people prefer to go there for their honeymoon.

Day 07: Abjata Shalla national park – Addis Ababa
On this day, you will drive to Abjata Shalla national park. The park is named after the two adjacent lakes. Lake Shalla is the deepest lake in the Rift Valley and the breeding place for different birds especially laser and greater flamingos and Lake Abjata is the feeding place for them. You can see thousands of flamingos feeding and wandering around the lake. On the way stop at the lake Ziway.for refreshment before you continue your journey to Addis Ababa.
Dinner at one of the cultural restaurants in Addis and transfer for your international flight.
